The City of Hamilton Libraries has asked us to give presentations on gardening for the spring of 2018. Since April is “How to” month, the topic will be “How to be A Great Gardener”. The following presentations have been arranged so far.

May 8th at 2 p.m. Saltfleet library
May 9th at 2 p.m. Redhill library
May 14th at 7pm. Sherwood library

Halton Master Gardeners are involved in Web Chats on CBC Ontario’s gardening call in show which takes place every Monday at 12:30pm. Four of our members Donna Parker, Claudette Sims, Patty King and Lisa Drozdov regularly take part on this program.

Every year the Royal Botanical Gardens hosts Spring and Summer Festivals and members of Halton Master Gardeners do encourage interested gardeners to attend the various RBG events which take place at these festivals . The gardens are located at 680 Plains Road West in Burlington, Ontario.

Members of Halton Master Gardeners will be providing advice clinics at the Dorval Civitan Crossing Market in Oakville, the Dundas Farmers Market and the Burlington Farmers’ Market during the August to September period of the year.
